Here is a closer view of the place. Babelsberg Palace was built as a summer residence of Emperor Wilhelm I.

After that, it rained. Heavily. I was drenched. (X.X;)
After the rain had subsided (subsided, not stopped!), I visited the more famous Schloss Sanssouci (Sanssouci Palace). This is yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is the former summer residence of Fredrick the Great.

A short distance from Schloss Sanssouci is the Orangery.
I would have enjoyed this place better if it wasn't raining incessantly (^^;)
