I have applied for unpaid leave in the middle of April to further pursue my studies. Somewhere in the middle of July, I finally received this letter.




I am not granted leave for my PhD studies. So, does that mean that I have to forfeit my scholarship to go overseas to pursue my studies just to continue to be a donkey for serve and contribute to my beloved university? Of course not!




And one week later, they agreed...




...on the condition that I fill up various questionnaires and forms (>.<)




Well, I was all ready to resign if my application for unpaid leave is unsuccessful. In fact, I was initially deliberating between resigning and applying for leave; both had its pros and cons, and I am fine with both.

I have not regretted being with MMU for the past three years. I have learnt a lot, from teaching to learning to doing various donkey jobs administrative tasks. But my PhD is more important to me right now, and I'm giving up this job for my future career.
