Parkinson Steps would have been more impressive if I were there early in the morning when the snow wasn't yet cleared away...
Icy cool Flames, burning eternally admist the Winter's snow...
In the university...
The flower bed near the Great Hall, or rather what's left of it... (>.<)
No bicycles allowed!!
This is why...
Snow on bushes and bare trees is so beautiful...
And so is snow on benches and rubbish bins...
It feels so like in a movie... Narnia? Not really...
Now this is more like Narnia...
Outside Edward Boyle library...
I also have a video to go with that.
Facing the Roger Steven's building...
The fountain survived the snow though...
Outside E.C. Stoner Building/School of Computing...
And the School of Music...
The Clothworkers' Hall...
And there you have it. My usual 10-minute walk to university took me 1 hour 10 minutes on the day, no thanks to me stopping to snap a picture at every single step!! I think I ended up with about 150 pictures/videos (>.<)
As a bonus, the fire alarm decided to go off a short while after I arrived (>.<) A perfect excuse to ditch my work and go out for a snowball fight!! (^,^)
The snow this time lasted for about a week, with occasional snow showers throughout the week to "refill" the snow. It really was the thickest and longest-lasting snow I've encountered here in England.
I'll leave you with a little something I spotted on my way back from university later that day.
A cute
For those still waiting for my snowman, you'll have to wait until the next post (which definitely won't be tomorrow). Are you enjoying the suspense? (>,<)
